Desert Run
£29.00

A tribute to the grit of the 1970’s Baja scene and authentic motor culture.

We didn’t just print this one; we engineered it. The intricate central artwork is designed to sink completely into our signature heavyweight washed maroon blank for a flawless matte finish. But we didn't stop there. The "Cultura del Motor" typography physically rises off the chest in a tactile, 3D sand flock. It’s a premium, mixed-media contrast that you have to feel to understand.

It’s the 1% details that make it Low Gear. Finished with our signature woven hem tag secured by custom gold contrast stitching, and a vintage-spec interior neck stamp.

The Specs:

  • The Canvas: Heavyweight, vintage-washed cotton for that perfectly broken-in drape.

  • The Livery: High-definition, matte-finish DTF print designed to blend seamlessly with the fabric's natural wear. 3D sand flock typography.

  • The Details: Smooth interior featuring our spec-stamp (no scratchy tags).

  • The Origin: Designed and hand-pressed in our Scottish workshop.

Fit Note: True to size with a classic, relaxed cut.

Care Instructions: Wash it cold inside-out. Hang it dry. Never iron the print.

Coastal Scrambler
£29.00

Some days, the workshop stays closed. The Coastal Scrambler is our nod to the great escape—that golden era of loading up the van, strapping a board to a desert sled, and pointing the headlights toward the water.

We engineered this piece to feel like a genuine 1970’s Baja relic right off the hanger. Instead of heavy blocks of ink, we used a soft, multi-coloured line-art approach that lets the heavyweight washed red fabric breathe perfectly. It’s a sun-faded, laid-back aesthetic, complete with our Low Gear script subtly anchored on the Scrambler's gas tank for those who appreciate the details.

Finished with our signature woven hem tag and a vintage-spec interior neck stamp.

Built for the weekend run. Wash it cold, hang it dry, and leave the iron in the cupboard.

Trackside Ringer
£29.00

The Trackside Ringer is our love letter to the golden era of 1970’s flat-track racing. It carries the spirit of historic pit lanes—where the smell of hot motor oil, high-octane fuel, and raw determination defined the Sunday morning line-up. It's a clean, understated nod to the builders and riders who lived for the speed shop lifestyle.

Built on our premium, heavy-weight off-white organic cotton base with a classic contrast collar and cuffs, this ringer features our arched "Sump Speed Shop" chest livery. We used a heavy-duty, tactile Brickflex print that rises physically off the fabric, delivering a rugged, vintage team-jersey aesthetic with a modern, tailored drape.

Features:

  • 3D Raised Navy typography on front chest.

  • Contrast-trim Washed Navy collar and sleeve ringer bands.

  • Signature double-sided woven hem tag on bottom hem.

  • Tonal inside-neck spec print.

Care instructions:

  • Wash cold, inside out, line dry to keep the Brickflex embossed.

Independent Supply Hoodie
£79.00

We didn’t want to make merch. We wanted to make gear. The Independent Supply Hoodie is the absolute baseline of the Low Gear uniform. With its clean typography and "EST. 2025" stamp, it offers a subtle nod to our grassroots, shed-built origins.

Crafted from a premium 320gsm garment-dyed cotton, it comes out of the box with a perfect, sun-faded patina—feeling exactly like that trusted layer you’ve already spent a year wrenching in. Finished with our custom woven hem tag and signature detailing.

The Specs:

  • The Canvas: Premium 320gsm heavyweight cotton blend, garment-dyed for a vintage, lived-in drape.

  • The Livery: Tactile, raised cream/sand flock print designed to offer an authentic, retro-textured aesthetic.

  • The Details: Smooth interior featuring our spec-stamp (no scratchy tags) and custom woven label on the right sleeve.

  • The Origin: Designed and hand-pressed in our Scottish workshop.

Fit Note: True to size with a classic, relaxed cut (size up for a looser streetwear drape).

Care Instructions: Wash it cold inside-out. Hang it dry. Strictly no tumble drying. Never iron the flock print.

We build the uniform

The Low Gear Feed

No fluff, no newsletters.

Our process doesn’t end when the press is turned off. Instagram remains our living digital logbook - where we document every custom build, technical challenge, sunset scramble and all the quiet details that make Low Gear what it is.

The Sump is our vision for the ultimate analogue soul hub. For now, it lives as a digital workshop - a growing space for deeper stories, build journals, and the unfiltered culture of riders and makers. In time, it will evolve into a physical gathering place where the community can wrench, ride, and connect in person.

While we build toward that future, the best way to stay in the loop and be part of the journey is to follow along on Instagram.
