  • 5.3. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon delivery to your specified address.

6. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL // CONSUMER CONTRACTS REGULATIONS

  • 6.1. Standard, Non-Personalised Goods: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to cancel your contract for any non-customised item, for any reason, within 14 days of receiving your goods.

  • 6.2. EXEMPTION FOR BESPOKE COMMISSIONS: The 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods that are uniquely personalised (e.g., custom club names, specific non-standard vinyl colours requested by you). These are non-refundable unless faulty.

  • 6.3. STANDARD 'PRINT ON DEMAND' GOODS: Standard 'Low Gear Supply & Co.' branded apparel items are made to order but are considered standard goods. We do accept returns for these items for exchange or refund, provided they are returned in pristine condition."

7. QUALITY CONTROL & RETURNS

  • 7.1. Standard Returns (Non-Personalised Goods): If you are eligible to return a standard (non-customised) item under Clause 6.1, please ensure that:

    • (a) You notify us within 14 days of receipt.

    • (b) The items are returned unused, in the same pristine condition in which you received them, unwashed and with all original tags still attached.

    • (c) You follow the return instructions provided with your order. To start a return request please click here.

    • (d) Return Shipping Costs: For non-faulty returns (e.g. wrong size or change of mind), you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We recommend using a tracked service. We will cover the shipping cost of sending the replacement item to you.

  • 7.2. Faulty Goods Policy: The exemption in Clause 6.2 does not affect your statutory rights for goods that are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

    • (a) We strive to ensure the highest quality in our products. We sincerely apologise if you have experienced any issues.

    • (b) Should you encounter a problem, please contact us promptly via our returns form. In your communication, please provide your order number, a detailed explanation of the issue, and clear photographic evidence if possible.

    • (c) This policy covers manufacturing defects only. It does not extend to issues resulting from normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper care (including failure to follow our Product Care Guide), accidental damage, or misuse of the product.

    • (d) We request that you notify us of any defects within 30 days of receiving the product.

    • (e) We reserve the right to inspect all returned items. A refund will be refused if we determine that the item was of satisfactory quality on dispatch and that any damage has been caused by misuse, deliberate damage, failure to follow care instructions, or normal wear and tear.

8. PROPRIETOR’S CREDIT

  • 8.1. Lifetime Validity: In alignment with our workshop philosophy, all Low Gear Supply & Co. Gift Vouchers are issued for life. They have no expiration date and will be honoured regardless of when they were originally commissioned.

  • 8.2. Fixed Monetary Value: Vouchers represent a fixed monetary credit in Pounds Sterling (GBP). While the credit value remains constant, the customer acknowledges that product pricing may change over time; the voucher will be applied against the workshop rates current at the time of redemption.

  • 8.3. Single-Use Protocol: Vouchers are valid for a single transaction only. Any remaining balance after a code has been applied at checkout cannot be carried over, refunded, or exchanged for cash (per standard system limitations). We recommend using the full value of the credit in one commission.

  • 8.4. Security & The Workshop Seal: Physical vouchers are dispatched in a sealed envelope. Once the envelope seal is broken, the voucher is considered "commissioned," and responsibility for the code’s security passes to the holder. Low Gear Supply & Co. is not liable for codes used by unauthorised parties once the original workshop seal is compromised.

  • 8.5. Returns on Voucher Purchases: Items purchased using a gift voucher are subject to our standard Returns Policy (Section 7). However, refunds for such items will be issued as Store Credit only and cannot be refunded as cash.

  • 8.6. Custom Commissions: Vouchers may be applied toward bespoke "Commission" projects. To use a voucher for a custom build that is not listed on the standard Paddock shop, please contact the Proprietor directly to verify the credit before work begins.

9. THE WAIVER: INTENDED USE

  • 9.1. Nature of Goods: All apparel, accessories, and goods sold under the 'Low Gear Supply & Co.' brand are designed, manufactured, and sold exclusively as casual lifestyle wear.

  • 9.2. No Protective Certification: We explicitly state that our products are not classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). They do not meet any safety standards for motorcycle protective clothing (such as CE or UKCA ratings) and are not constructed with abrasion-resistant materials (e.g., Kevlar, Dyneema) or impact protection (armour).

  • 9.3. Assumption of Risk: The customer acknowledges that motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity. By purchasing our products, you agree that 'Low Gear Supply & Co.' accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, death, or damage to property sustained while wearing our products during motorcycle riding or any other activity.

  • 9.4. Intended Use: Our products offer zero protection against road rash, impact, or injury in the event of an accident. They are intended for casual use only. Reliance on these products for safety is entirely at the user's own risk.

  • 9.5. These Terms apply to the purchase of Goods. Membership to the 'Low Gear Garage' is subject to a separate Waiver and Code of Conduct.
